Arrival at Kochi airport, assist/meet with all formalities and drive down to Munnar (140 K.M / 4 ½ hrs), on the way visiting Cheyappara and Valara waterfalls. The Green Paradise of Kerala with unending large portion of Tea plantations, spice plantations and rich variety of flora and fauna. Check in your hill resort and afternoon of relaxation/ you can go to visit Munnar town and explore nearby places and Overnight stay.
Wake up lazy morning. Post breakfast, we’ll proceed for local sightseeing including Maduppatty Dam, Echo Point, Kundalay Dam, Pothenmedu View Point, and Blossom Park etc. In the evening, overnight stay at the hotel.
After the morning breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive towards Thekkady. Upon arrival, you'll proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady (on direct payment basis). It presents the synonymous with wildlife and nature treks. Later in the evening, visit to the theatre (Non air- conditioned) to have a experience of arts and crafts through the traditional Kalari Show. In evening, you can also go for an elephant ride (on direct payment basis) or shop around the local market area. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Periyar National Park – It is the most popular reserve among Southern India for Tigers and Elephants habitation. Contain rich in flora and fauna and best for visitors nature lover. Enjoy a walk in the nature pleasant that lies untouched by the human disturbances. Don't miss to see the elephants playing in the Lake. The main attraction of the park remains the Periyar Lake covering the area of 25sq km near the national park.
1. Elephant ride – When you are at Periyar National Park of mere sight of the elephant isn't just enough to make your trip worthwhile. Enjoy the elephant ride within it's habitat. If you think that's enough the mighty creature will further surprise you with its trunk on your head giving you blessings or you could just enjoy the bath with the elephants in nature's Jacuzzi.
2. Kalari show – Thekkady is full of surprises. When you have had enough of wildlife to explore. It presents you its culture, rising up your interest again. Kalari or Kalaripayattu is one of the major contributions to India has given to the world. Kalari is an ancient form of Martial art which originated in South India and is still a popular art of Kerala. You'll get to know your history better!
Post breakfast check out from hotel and we’ll continue our journey towards Alleppey. Alleppey is a city in the South Indian state of Kerala. Bordering the Laccadive Sea, it is known for its wide network of interlinking, palm-fringed canals called backwaters and rejuvenating Ayurvedic resorts. Allepey is the popular destination for its Houseboat cruises that pass through the serene beautiful backwaters. Here you can catch glimpses of green paddy fields, choir making activities, beautiful fauna and witness the surrounding life of locals in Kerala.
After reach Alleppey in the afternoon and check-in at the Houseboat. Enjoy the boating in backwater and have your meals in the houseboat. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
After post breakfast check out the houseboat we will continue our journey towards to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin proceed for local sightseeing and shopping then in evening to proceed to Cochin airport to board the flight back to home.
