Itinerary

Arrive at Delhi and assemble at RK Ashram or Majnu ka Tila(Tentative) by 7 pm and board the Volvo bus for Manali. Travel distance and travel time 550 kms/14 hrs approx.Overnight in Volvo bus.

With its towering snow-capped mountains and scenic landscapes, Manali is a modern, rustic township wrapped in the arms of nature. The breathtaking River Beas flows throughout its course —with pristine glacial waters that flow down Rohtang Pass's slopes, a famous spot among visiting tourists. The snow-fed valley boasts crowded hotels and resorts from the early summer months to the end of the year. Post lunch the group shall proceed for Manali sightseeing and visit places like Hadimba Temple, Jogini falls, Vashisth hotspring and return to hotel by evening and the group shall have dinner. Rest and acclimatize at the hotel in Manali.

In the morning, we advance towards Sissu via Atal Tunnel. After witnessing Sissu waterfalls, we proceed to Kaza. The Manali-Kaza route gives you a glimpse of the imposing mountains and the Spiti river's fresh waters that follows the course. A chilling breeze passes as we continue our journey to the prominent city of Kaza. The Manali-Kaza route is around 200 km, and the entire trip takes approximately 10 hours on a typical day. We need to cross a mountain pass- Kunzum Pass(15000ft). On the way, there are numerous hills covered in flowers and small streams—dinner and night stay in Kaza.

After a delicious breakfast, we continue our Spiti Valley Road Trip with a drive to Key Monastery - the famous and largest Monastery of Lahaul and Spiti. Chicham Bridge is said to be the World's highest bridge Kibber - The quaint town is situated in a cold desert, enveloped by mountains, barren landscapes and lush meadows. Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary is the main attraction of this place. The Sanctuary houses endangered and rare species like Himalayan Wolf, Red Fox and Snow Leopard. After exploring the village, we advance towards the famous Langza Langza stands at 14,000 feet and houses a 1000 year monastery.

At the break of dawn, we proceedfor Komik, a village that houses the highest motorable Monastery in the world, the Tangyud Monastery. The last village on our route is Hikkim, one of the most charming villages in the region and has the world's highest post office. Later, we manoeuvre through the Spiti Valley roads to reach Pin Valley. Pin Valley is situated on the banks of Pin River that eventually joins the Spiti RIver. Mud village is a remote hamlet in Pin Valley. The road to Mud Village divulges from the road connecting the villages of Tabo and Kaza. At an altitude of 3600m, Mud village is a verdant green patch compared to the brown, arid region of the Spiti Valley. We end our journey for the day at Tabo. Night stay in Tabo.

At breakfast the group shall visit Tabo Monastery and Tabo Caves and continue the road journey to Chandratal Lake Along the way, travellers will halt at Dhankar Monastery. Arrive at Chandratal lake by late afternoon. The sparkling blue colour of the lake has a tranquillizing effect on the onlooker. After relishing the serene lake's grandeur and beauty, we camp under the glittering stars at Chandratal.

On the last day of our Spiti Valley Road Trip, we will head back to Manali. As you make your way back, the view of the mountains and forests will make you feel nostalgic, leaving you pining for more.
