Mall Road
Mall Road is not only a tourist attraction, but it is also one of the most popular shopping destinations in Shimla. This famous shopping street is a haven for shopaholics and one of the most popular places to visit in Shimla. You can shop a range of warm woollens and traditional footwear to beautiful handicrafts, jewellery, and show pieces. There are several restaurants, banks, cafes, clubs, tourist information centres, and post offices to choose from the mall road.
Jakhoo Hill
Jakhoo Hills, Shimla’s highest hill, is one of the best spots to visit in Shimla. Jakhoo hills have one of the biggest idols of lord Hanuman, which stands tall at the Jakhoo Temple at a height of 108 feet. The statue, which is just about 2 kilometres from Shimla, provides a spectacular view of the nearby Shivalik ranges’ towering mountains and the town of Sanjauli.

The Ridge
The Ridge is one of Shimla’s most popular tourist destinations. It is the epicentre of all tourist activity and is conveniently located near Shimla’s major attractions, including the Mall Road, Scandal Point, and the Lakkar Bazaar. An annual Summer Fest takes place there in the month of April and May and it is a must visit festival if you are planning a Shimla trip. The ridge will be scenic like heaven once the snow fall starts, and it will be the best time to visit the place.

Tara Devi Temple
The sacred temple of Tara Devi is located among the dense forest of oaks and the majestic Himalayas in the backdrop. The Tara Devi Temple, a famous tourist destination on your Shimla tour, is widely recognised for its legacy and spiritual importance, and provides the sense of tranquillity to followers of “Goddess Tara”. Tara Devi temple is well known among tourists for the scenic view of the surrounding Himalayas. The goddess Tara Devi is said to have travelled all the way from Bengal to Himachal Pradesh, so this temple is dedicated to the goddess of the stars. The temple is for those who seek inner peace within the lap of Himalayas.
The temple belongs to Pahari-style architecture and is completely built on wood. The climate of Shimla has damaged the woods and it is estimated to cost around 6 crores for the restoration of the temple to its previous form.

Chadwick Waterfall
It is a short fall located near Shimla. Even though it is short the trek through the scenic forest surrounding the area makes up for what it lacks in height or beauty. It will be a nice trek for those peace seekers to spend some good time in the tranquil woods of Himachal.
Chadwick falls in the New Summer Hill. It is just 4.9 km away from Shimla bus stand.
