    Things to Note before Maldives Trip

    • Don’t forget to choose resorts close to the Malé. Transit will take longer as the major transport is by seaplanes.
    • Not all hotels or resorts will provide you with complimentary seaplane pickup. Make sure to check it with the hotels.
    • Many resorts will add more deals to your package if you extend your stay by one or two nights.
    • Some resorts have their own time zone. Schedule your departure by checking it with the resort.
    • An RT-PCR negative result of at least 96 hours is mandatory. You should also fill a Traveller Health Declaration 24 hours before departure.
    • The Maldives is an Islamic country; obviously, you cannot carry idols of worship, religious books, pork and pork products, and alcohol.
    • Not all resorts allow kids. Some water and land villas will not allow kids on their property for safety reasons.
